METROFOOD-RI is pleased to recall its participation in the upcoming Science Summit to be held at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79).
The event is scheduled for 25 September at 4 p.m. (New York time, 10 p.m. CEST Time) in the Innovation Room of the Cure building, 345 Park Avenue South: the session curated by METROFOOD-RI will highlight the role of Research Infrastructures in addressing the challenges of the agri-food system with reference to, for example, food quality and safety, traceability and transparency, innovation, digitalisation, circular bio-economy, sustainability and resilience.
The speakers will highlight the importance of the ‘One Health’ approach, whereby human, animal and environmental health are considered as a unicum.
The meeting will also highlight the need to strengthen research, cooperation, innovation and stakeholder engagement to support growth and innovation in the agri-food sector.
