METROFOOD-RI<\/strong>\u00a0is pleased to recall its participation in the upcoming Science Summit<\/strong>\u00a0to be held at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA79).\u00a0
<\/strong><\/p>

The event is scheduled for 25 September at 4 p.m. (New York time, 10 p.m. CEST Time)<\/strong>\u00a0in the Innovation Room of the Cure building, 345 Park Avenue South: the session curated by METROFOOD-RI will highlight the role of Research Infrastructures in addressing the challenges of the agri-food system with reference to, for example, food quality and safety, traceability and transparency, innovation, digitalisation, circular bio-economy, sustainability and resilience.<\/p>

The speakers will highlight the importance of the \u2018One Health\u2019 approach, whereby human, animal and environmental health are considered as a unicum.<\/p>

The meeting will also highlight the need to strengthen research, cooperation, innovation and stakeholder engagement to support growth and innovation in the agri-food sector.<\/p>
